Ways We Can Work Together
I offer several pathways for healing, growth, and transformation, whether you prefer private support, community connection within a group, or multi-coach collaboration.
Room to Land 🌿 Circles
A small, slow gathering space online, for BIWOC only. A place to pause, listen to what your body is communicating, and be in community without needing to perform, explain, or have anything figured out.
My approach: Coming Home to Your Inner Fire
Core Philosophy
You are not a problem to solve. You are a person to understand.
I do not believe people need to "be fixed" into better versions of themselves. I believe we need enough understanding, honesty, and self-trust to recognize what is shaping us, decide what still belongs to us, and choose what comes next.
Our patterns have stories. Our identities have context. Our choices have consequences. We can hold all of that without reducing ourselves to any one of those things. When we understand ourselves more honestly, we gain more choice: what we keep, what we release, what we change, and what we choose to create.
Healing, for me, is not about arriving at some perfected version of yourself. It is about developing a relationship with yourself honest enough to know what is true, compassionate enough to stay with what is difficult, and grounded enough to act on what you know.
And underneath all of that is a belief I return to again and again: you are already a whole person. The work is not to manufacture a better version of you. It is to clear enough space for your authentic self to be known, trusted, and lived.
How I Hold Space
I coach people who are ready to know themselves more honestly, question what they have inherited, reconnect with their values and inner knowing, and build lives that feel more authentic, intentional, and fully their own.
-
Heart-Centered & Evidence-Informed: I bring my background in clinical mental health counseling into coaching without turning our work into therapy or positioning myself as the expert on your life. Psychological frameworks, trauma awareness, and nervous system education can help us understand what is happening, while your lived experience remains the authority on what it means.
-
Plática as Medicine: Conversation is more than exchanging information. Through plática, we slow down enough to notice what is underneath the first answer and make room for something more honest to emerge. I listen for what is said, what is avoided, what repeats, and what becomes possible when you hear yourself wholly, so we can find language for what may have been felt long before it was understood.
-
Culture and Context Are Part of the Work: We cannot understand ourselves apart from the worlds that shaped us. Race, gender, sexuality, family, culture, spirituality, class, systems, and lived experience all influence what we believe is possible. We make room for that context rather than pretending personal growth happens in a vacuum.
-
Curiosity Without Pathologizing: I approach patterns with curiosity before judgment. Your coping strategies did something for you. Your wiring is not a defect. Understanding where something came from gives us more information about whether, and how, you want to change it.
-
Challenge With Care: Being witnessed does not mean being endlessly affirmed. When it serves the work, I will ask the harder question, name a pattern, or invite you to look somewhere you may have been avoiding. I will challenge you without taking your agency away.
Guiding Principles
- Self-Knowledge Creates Choice: The more honestly you understand yourself, the more options you have for how you respond, relate, and move forward.
- Context & Nuance Matter: Your patterns make sense in context. We explore the conditions that shaped them without using that understanding to avoid responsibility for what comes next.
- Complexity Is Allowed: You can hold conflicting feelings, identities, desires, and truths without forcing yourself into a neat and polished answer.
- Integration Takes Practice: Insight matters. The real work is learning to live what you know.
- Your Life Is Yours to Author: I am not here to hand you a blueprint for your life. I can offer perspective, questions, and tools. I cannot decide what is right for you. The agency and authority remain yours.
The Outcome
The systems we live within influence the stories we tell ourselves. I believe personal healing and collective healing are inseparable. Lasting transformation requires both personal accountability and compassionate understanding of the larger context.
My hope is that our work helps you come home to your own certeza: that deep inner knowing beneath fear, self-doubt, and survival. Certeza is not certainty as in “I know exactly what will happen.” It is certainty as in “I know myself well enough to trust what I know.”
That is deeply connected to the larger arc of my work: reclaiming voice, desire, boundaries, identity, agency, and self-trust.
When you reconnect with that place, you stop outsourcing your worth and begin making choices with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. You move from surviving your life to actively creating one that feels deeply aligned with who you are.
My Bio & Journey
I am a bilingual coach, queer Chicana, and community advocate whose work sits at the intersection of identity, healing, relationships, and collective liberation.
For more than two decades, I have worked alongside individuals and communities through advocacy, community engagement, coaching, and mental health education and support. Across those spaces, I have been drawn to the same question: What happens when people are given enough room to question what they have been taught, understand themselves more deeply, and make choices that actually belong to them?
My path into coaching grew from that question. I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which deepened my understanding of trauma, relationships, and the ways our nervous systems respond to the world around us. However, my work has never been about applying a framework to someone and calling that healing. It has been about bringing knowledge, curiosity, cultural context, and real human relationship into the room and seeing what becomes possible from there.
My own journey has included a deep deconstruction of the toxic evangelical framework I was raised within: questioning inherited beliefs about worth, identity, sexuality, authority, belonging, and what it means to live a good life. That process of questioning did not leave me without a foundation. It required me to build one that was more honest, expansive, and my own.
As a daughter of Mexican immigrants, I understand identity as something lived, relational, and constantly in conversation with culture and power. I am interested in the places where what we inherited meets what we actually believe, want, value, and choose. I am invested in helping people distinguish between what is truly theirs and what they have simply learned to carry.
My professional path has taken me through mental health, advocacy, community engagement, food justice, and coaching. Each has sharpened my understanding of how personal lives and larger systems shape one another. I bring clinical education, cultural humility, lived experience, and a deep belief in the transformative power of honest conversation to the work.
